The Special Town Meeting held on September 20 at 2 pm at the Becket-Washington School drew lighter attendance than the Annual Meeting. With just six articles on the warrant, the meeting lasted about an hour. The results were as follows:
Article 1 Conservation Commission Membership Change: Passed unanimously
Article 2 Financial Transfers: Passed unanimously
Article 3 Transfer FY2026 Appropriations From the Building Inspector Salary Account to a Professional Services Account: Passed unanimously
Article 4 Borrow $5 Million for Paved Road Repairs: Passed by 2/3 majority
Article 5 Proposition 2½ Debt Exclusion Referendum for $5 Million Borrowing as Specified in Article 4: Passed unanimously
Article 6 Regulation — Accessory Dwelling Units: Did not pass
