The First Congregational Church of Becket is hosting a Mother’s Day Flower Sale on May 9. The Becket Arts Center’s May calendar features yoga, creative movement, exhibits, and workshops. The Becket Athenaeum encourages community participation in poetry and will be hosting a writing workshop on May 30.

The Becket Beat is published by a group of Becket residents who see the need for a way to reach out to their neighbors; build community; share resources and events; post town updates; support local businesses and innovative endeavors; and most of all, celebrate the unique character of Becket and its residents. In short, it aims to keep the local public informed and connected.
