Calling for volunteers: Formation of an Ad Hoc Communications Committee has been authorized by the Becket Town Administrator to create a plan to increase community engagement with Becket residents on a variety of issues and events. The Committee will consist of seven to ten members and develop a plan to improve information flow and engage more residents on topics including, but not limited to, those leading up to the Annual Town Meeting Town (e.g. proposed by-laws, ordinances, spending).
The Committee is open to both full and part-time residents; those with social media or website skills will be much appreciated! Meeting times will be flexible to accommodate various schedules.
