After a long winter of snowstorms and relentless plowing, Becket Country Store will host a community appreciation day to honor the people who help keep the town moving. On March 20th, the first day of spring, the store will welcome members of the Becket Highway Department to stop by for complimentary food and drinks, provided through donations from grateful local residents.
This is intended as a simple gesture of gratitude for the long hours highway workers spend clearing and maintaining Becket’s roads each winter, often working through the night and in difficult conditions to keep the community safe.
