Friends gathered on February 15th at Rich and Laura Fredricks’ home for a fundraising event, “Stories by Firelight,” founded by Normi Noel. The intimate performance, an adaptation of an Edith Wharton story, featured local actors and sparked meaningful conversations about storytelling and healing, honoring the memory of their daughter, Emily.

The Becket Arts Center features a vibrant July with music concerts, art exhibitions, classes, and creative gatherings. Highlights include performances from Bobby Sweet and The O-Tones, gallery openings, and various community activities. Meanwhile, the Athenaeum hosts a Book & Bake Sale, colonial crafts, Mahjong meetups, and summer reading for all ages.
